Hello Walnut Creek!
Ever wonder who's behind a wrapped work van or a lettered storefront window? Meet Boris and Brooke Castro, the husband-and-wife team behind OBB Wraps & Graphics, a family shop in Concord that works with businesses across Walnut Creek and the East Bay. They bring more than 20 years of graphic design and sign experience to every job, and they're raising their son right here. We asked them how it came together.

Tell us the story behind your business. What inspired you to start it, and how did it all begin?
OBB Wraps & Graphics is our family-owned business, run by the two of us, Boris and Brooke Castro. With more than 20 years of experience in graphic design and the sign industry, we wanted to build something of our own that combined creativity, craftsmanship and helping other businesses succeed.
We especially love helping fellow small businesses grow through branding, vehicle graphics and signage that gets them noticed. Whether we’re wrapping a work truck or creating signage for a new storefront, it’s rewarding to play a part in another business owner’s journey. Building OBB together has made it especially meaningful for our family.

Why the East Bay? What made you choose this area to plant roots?
The East Bay is home to us. Boris grew up right here in Concord, Brooke grew up in Benicia, and we’re now raising our son in Concord and Walnut Creek. Opening our shop here felt like a natural extension of the life we’re building.
We love the variety of local businesses and the relationships that come from being part of this community. Our shop is in Concord, but we’re proud to work with businesses throughout Walnut Creek and the rest of the East Bay.
What’s something about your business that most people don’t know?
We do much more than vehicle wraps. We also create storefront and window graphics, custom signs and banners, interior wall wraps, and custom floor wraps for weddings and events.
We offer in-house design, too, so you don’t need to arrive with finished artwork. Whether you have a clear vision or just the beginning of an idea, we can help bring it to life.

What’s been your biggest challenge as a small business owner here?
Getting our name out there while balancing everything that comes with running a family business. You can have years of experience behind you, but building recognition for your own business takes time.
Every referral, shared post and customer who recommends us makes a difference. It’s made us appreciate just how much community support matters.
What’s next for you? Anything exciting coming up that readers should know about?
We’re excited to keep growing our relationships with local businesses and to show more people what we can do beyond vehicle wraps. We’re especially looking forward to more interior wall transformations and custom floor wraps for weddings and events.
We’re also adding paint protection film, or PPF, to our services. There are so many creative ways to personalize, promote and protect a space or a vehicle, and we’re excited to help customers explore them.

What’s been your most rewarding moment so far?
Our grand opening was a special milestone. Seeing family, friends, local businesses, vendors and car enthusiasts come together to support something we’ve worked so hard to build meant so much to us. It was a hot day, and people still showed up and celebrated with us.
Seeing our work out in the community is its own reward. There’s something pretty exciting about spotting a vehicle we wrapped driving down the street.
If someone is visiting for the first time, what should they try or experience?
Come in and share what you’re working on. Bring photos of your vehicle or space, your logo, or even an idea you’ve been thinking about. We can show you material samples and examples of our work, talk through your goals and help you find a direction that fits your style and budget.
You don’t need to know exactly what to ask for. That’s part of what we’re here to help with.
