🎉 Fiesta Cultural Returns to Downtown Walnut Creek

Walnut Creek's annual Fiesta Cultural returns this weekend with a celebration of Latin American music, dance, food, and culture at the Lesher Center and surrounding downtown area.

The two-day event includes a headline performance from Grammy Award-winning Pacific Mambo Orchestra on Friday night, followed by a free street fair on Saturday featuring live music, dance performances, family activities, art workshops, local makers, and food vendors throughout the afternoon. Visitors can also explore the Bedford Gallery's current exhibition, join free dance classes, watch cultural performances, and enjoy everything from pupusas to tacos and paletas.

Fiesta Cultural has quietly become one of Walnut Creek's signature community events, bringing together arts, culture, food, and live entertainment in a way few local festivals do. With Pacific Mambo Orchestra headlining, dozens of performers and vendors participating, and downtown expected to be especially lively, this is one of the strongest reasons to spend time in Walnut Creek this weekend.

🎺 Pacific Mambo Orchestra

A major highlight of Fiesta Cultural is Friday night's performance by Pacific Mambo Orchestra, the Grammy Award-winning Bay Area Latin big band known for its explosive live shows and genre-blending mix of salsa, mambo, Latin jazz, and Afro-Cuban rhythms.

Led by some of the region's top musicians, the orchestra has performed at major festivals around the world and built a reputation for turning concert halls into dance floors. Whether you're a longtime salsa fan or just looking for an energetic night out, this is the kind of performance that's hard to sit still through.

☕ Morning Coffee Party at Stereo41

Part coffee meetup, part music event, part social mixer. Stereo41 hosts this unique morning gathering featuring live music, vendors, coffee, matcha, and a color-coded wristband system that lets attendees signal their vibe (or relationship status), which adds an easygoing way to meet people.

Between the DJs, coffee bars, and vendor pop-ups, the event combines several things Walnut Creek doesn't often get in the same place at the same time.

One of the coolest free events of the week. The Concert Truck, a traveling concert hall built inside a box truck, rolls into Calicraft's beer garden for a free outdoor performance. Grab a drink, order a pizza, and enjoy live music under the evening sky.

The setup alone makes this worth seeing. The performance takes place from inside a custom-built mobile concert venue, creating an experience that feels both intimate and unexpectedly memorable.
