🍷🎨 43rd Annual Walnut Creek Art & Wine Festival

If there’s one event that unofficially kicks off summer in Walnut Creek, it’s this one. The 43rd Annual Walnut Creek Art & Wine Festival returns to Civic Park for a full weekend of live music, local wine and craft beer, food vendors, art, shopping, and family-friendly activities. Drawing more than 30,000 visitors each year, the festival has become one of the East Bay’s signature community events and an easy excuse to spend the day outdoors with friends and family.
Beyond the wine and food, the festival features more than 200 artisan and vendor booths, a Kids Zone, continuous live entertainment on multiple stages, and plenty of opportunities to discover local businesses and makers. Whether you're there for the music, the people-watching, the craft beer garden, or simply to wander through Civic Park with something cold in hand, this is one of those weekends that feels distinctly Walnut Creek.

🍜 Marufuku Ramen Opens Downtown Walnut Creek

One of the most anticipated restaurant openings in recent memory has officially arrived. Marufuku Ramen, known for its rich Hakata-style tonkotsu broth, handmade noodles, and loyal following across the Bay Area, has opened its doors in downtown Walnut Creek. The new location brings another highly sought-after dining option to the city’s growing food scene and is already drawing plenty of attention from local ramen fans. If you’ve been waiting to try it, expect some buzz and possibly a line.

🚗 Shadelands Classic Car Show

Classic cars, live music, food vendors, raffle prizes, and free museum tours come together for one of Walnut Creek’s favorite summer traditions. Hosted by the Walnut Creek Historical Society, the Shadelands Classic Car Show fills the historic ranch grounds with beautifully restored vehicles spanning decades of automotive history. Even if you don’t know a carburetor from a catalytic converter, it’s an easy event to enjoy thanks to the atmosphere, live entertainment, and family-friendly setting.
